Responsibilities/Job Description:
Manager, Pipeline Integrity reports to the Director of Pipeline
and Pipeline Integrity. The Manager, through direct action as well
as working through others including subordinate positions, technical
services, field areas and engineering department will recommend and
implement the pipeline integrity realated goals and objectives; evaluate
and make recommendations and implement the annual technical direction
and operating philosophy as amy apply to regional pipeline
facilities. The Manager has responsibility for regional pipeline
capital and operating & maintenance budgets as may apply to pipeline
facilities. Onshore and offshore pipelines are included among the
facilities. The Manager provides technical direction for the
region pipeline operations and maintenance and during pipeline operating
emergencies. The Manager provides direct technical and
administrative support to the Director of Pipeline and Pipeline
Integrity.
Incumbent performs work in compliance with Company policies/procedures
as well as external regulatory bodies, such as Department of
Transportation (DOT) and Enviromental Protection Agency (EPA), through
adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Operation and
Maintenance (O&M) Manuals.
Basic/Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in the field of Engineering and five years of
various technical experiences.
Desired Qualifications:
The experience which would be beneficial but not required would
include Supervisory experience, offshore experience, corrosion control,
pipeline integrity, regulatory, budgeting, communications and/or
measurement experience.
