Job Description:
Primary work will be in designing, implementing, and
testing data integration interfaces in conjunction with the Operational
Data Store and IDS Data Warehouse using the Informatica PowerCenter and
Oracle toolsets. Participate as an active member of the PDM team
representing Information Solutions. Work with and provide guidance on
technical solutions. Coordinate unit and system level testing and
documenting of results. Design and develop comprehensive, scalable
interfaces and assist in the specification of service orchestrations.
Work with limited supervision, and take ownership of project to achieve
schedule, financial and technical goals as assigned.
Job Responsibilities:
- Designs & builds ETL interfaces to support mission critical PDM,
ODS & Data Warehouse applications
- Designs & builds data extractions & ETL processes
- Resolves related production issues for PDM Interfaces, ODS the
IDS Data Warehouse
- Creates data flows & conceptual models
defining the informational needs of projects
- Provides leadership in logical/physical modeling & design
- Works with Business Analyst and/or users to understand business
reporting requirements
- Applies business intelligence development standards & processes
- Develops & maintains data architecture, data management
standards & conventions, data dictionaries, data element naming
standards & data dictionary metadata standards

Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of experience as an Informatica
PowerCenter 8.6.1 developer
- Demonstrated proficiency designing, implementing and supporting
a Powercenter production environment using a scalable Informatica
framework
- Strong knowledge of Oracle 10g and SQL Server databases and
performance tuning
- Familiarity with a formal SDLC process and structured deployment
process.
Required Education:
Bachelor'™s Degree from an accredited
university or college with a major in Computer Science, Mathematics or
related engineering or science field.
Desired Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in using the following: Java, XML, XSD, XSLT
- Demonstrated knowledge of web services and SOA web technologies
- Experience and working knowledge of Windchill PDMLink 9.1
- Experience working with HP-UX and UNIX environments
- Experience and worked with Oracle SOA Integrations
- Demonstrated experience and worked with JMS Topics
- Demonstrated experience and worked in the Aerospace and Defense Industry Knowledge of Six Sigma and Capability Maturity Model Integration
(CMMI) or similar processes
- Demonstrated experience delivering customer focused and results based solutions with the ability to close out projects completely
- Demonstrated strong software process discipline
- Demonstrated experience being adaptable and willing to work on varying assignments
- Desire and ability to work as a team member is essential
- Demonstrated team leadership skills is a definite plus
- Experience working with secured clustered environments
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Must be self-motivated and possess excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated Ability to deliver results on multiple projects in a fast paced environment
