Administrative Assistant | Aon | Boston, MA

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Providing administrative support to four senior level individuals to include entry level broker activities.
  • Handles filing, billing, expenses, client tracking, tracking business files, tracking account files, tracking policies, and renewal lists.
  • Handles travel arrangements, scheduling meetings, answering phones, putting together presentations in Excel, and spreadsheets in Excel.
  • Communicates in a professional manner in person, by telephone and through correspondence with high level contacts inside and outside the company including senior leadership.
  • Coordinates travel arrangements, utilizing the in house travel agency.
  • Prepares expense reports and reimbursement requests for the group.
  • Schedules meetings and appointments, as needed.
  • Ensures adequate office supplies.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Possess 3 plus years of secretarial or administrative experience in a professional services environment.
  • Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of general office administration.
  • Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and follow through; strong ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others (written and oral) and represent the legal team in an appropriate, professional manner.
  • Ability to prioritize projects in a fast paced environment.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
